NEW INFORMATION ON GREEN SHOP DONATIONS

We have received news from the Rag Company we deal with that they are no longer collecting rags or damaged goods.
This is unwelcome news for us as in any one week we create bags of items that cannot be put up for sale. We have also in the
past able to take items from everyone as part of the rags deal.

We can take clean clothes for resale
We can take clean shoes for resale
Books clean for resale
Handbags for resale
Kitchen items for resale

There are many items not mentioned that we can take and childrens toys please can you donate clean complete items.

We are very sorry to have to curtail what was a useful way of disposing of unwanted items but we unfortunately do not
have the storage room and as a small charity we cannot cover extra disposal costs.

We do many things in the village. We have –

A dementia day centre on a Tuesday and Thursday
Monday Gang for people diagnosed with dementia this can be a difficult time.
Patients at the hospital which includes support with items for the hospital physio team and the therapy section.
Support for Adults
Food4Families
And much more during the year

We would ask you to support us in this move away from rags and unsaleable items. We are trying to source other ways of placing unusable items.
